Mc Keon stone tradition of helping sculptors goes back many years and is one we maintain.

Throughout the decades  many sculptors have worked in  the yard in Stradbally  or at the quarry in Threecastles.

Using our material handling capabilities and our stone cutting expertise, we can make the hard work easy.

In particular for large pieces, the ability to move the stone becomes very important.

Stones as large as 20 tons have been worked on in our facilities.

Mc Keon Stone collaborates with Laois County Council ArtHouse in Stradbally which allows for sculptors to take up residence there at very attractive monthly rates.  The Arthouse is 5 minutes walk from the stoneyard.
