Ann Lane launches her book “BY THE WAY” in the National Library, Kildare Street, Dublin, Nov 10th 2010.
Photographs and descriptions of public art, in a County by County format by Ann Lane. Ann Lane (formerly of Ballinatona, Millstreet) has spent four years and travelled over 14,000 miles on an odyssey to catalogue the country’s main pieces of public art. Many of the stone sculptures dotted featured in this book came from Mc Keon Stone and indeed it’s own HISTORY OF STONE by Dick Joynt at the Stradbally factory, the longest piece of stone sculpture is featured in this book.
