There is a great tradition of Sculptors using Threecastles Limestone for important civic and private works. The many textures and finishes on Limestone give the artist great scope for expression.
Blocks as large as 25 ton can be extracted and processed.
McKeon Stone has held Scupltors symposia . Every year at least 3 significant  pieces are developed at teh quarry or in Stradbally . 

Mc Keon Stone encourages  and assists Sculptors to work in its  stoneyards .
